Terms of Service — GratefulFund

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GratefulFund ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Use of the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or campaign. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Campaign Organizers

Organizers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their campaigns. Campaigns must be for lawful purposes. GratefulFund reserves the right to review, suspend, or remove any campaign at its discretion. Organizers must connect a valid Stripe account to receive funds. Misrepresentation of campaign purpose may result in account termination and legal action.

4. Donations

All donations are processed via Stripe. By donating, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. GratefulFund does not store payment card information. Donations are generally non-refundable unless the campaign organizer explicitly agrees to a refund.

5. Platform Tips

Donors may optionally add a tip to their donation to support the GratefulFund platform. These tips are voluntary and go directly to GratefulFund operations. Tips are separate from the campaign donation amount.

6. Prohibited Content

You may not use GratefulFund for illegal activities, fraud, hate speech, harassment, or any content that violates applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove content and ban users who violate these terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

GratefulFund is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for disputes between donors and organizers, campaign outcomes, payment processing issues caused by third parties, or any indirect or consequential damages.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notice.
