Porridge for Layibi Primary through term two

Layibi Primary in Gulu serves maize porridge at 10 a.m. because many children leave home without eating. When the sack of maize runs out, attendance in the afternoon drops.

Term two needs 40 bags of maize, sugar, firewood, and pay for two cooks. At current Gulu market prices that is about UGX 42 million. The parents have covered the first month.
