Latrines for the Gounghin school yard

Gounghin primary school shares a single latrine block, and one side has already been closed because the pit is full. Pupils cross a busy road to use a neighbour's compound.

A mason will build a four-stance latrine with a hand-washing stand for XOF 8 million. The mothers' group has dug the pit. This fund pays for cement, vents, doors, and labour.
